VicPlumbers (ABN 55 621 361 537) is a licensed trade referral network that connects Victorian homeowners with VBA-licensed plumbing contractors. We operate the website vicplumbers.com.au (the "Site").

We are committed to protecting your personal information and handling it in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

We may collect the following personal information when you use our Site:

• Your phone number
• Your email address (if provided)
• Your suburb or address (as provided in a quote request)
• A description of your plumbing issue (as provided by you)
• The page or service you were viewing when you submitted an enquiry

When you submit a quote request, your name, phone number, suburb, and job description will be shared with one or more VBA-licensed plumbing contractors in our network. This is the core purpose of the referral service.

Contractors receive only the information necessary to respond to your enquiry. All contractors in our network have agreed to use your information only to contact you regarding your plumbing enquiry and to comply with applicable privacy laws.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not share your information with advertisers.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to collect anonymised information about how visitors use our Site, including pages visited, time on site, and device type. This data is used solely to improve the Site. GA4 data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising cookies or share browsing data with ad networks.

Calls to our tracked phone number may be logged (timestamp, duration, and originating page) for quality and lead tracking purposes. Calls are forwarded directly to the relevant contractor and are not recorded by VicPlumbers.

Your personal information is stored securely on Australian servers (Vercel, Airtable). We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. We retain lead data for up to 24 months for business and legal record purposes.

You have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your information (subject to our legal obligations)
• Opt out of any future contact from us
