Terms of Use

VicPlumbers (ABN 55 621 361 537) operates vicplumbers.com.au (the "Site"). VicPlumbers is a licensed trade referral network. We connect homeowners with independent, VBA-licensed plumbing contractors. VicPlumbers does not employ plumbers, perform plumbing work, or hold a VBA plumbing licence.

By using this Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

VicPlumbers provides a referral service only. Specifically:

• When you submit an enquiry, we forward your contact details and job description to one or more VBA-licensed plumbing contractors in our network.
• The contractor will contact you directly, provide a quote, and — if you accept — perform the work.
• Any contract for plumbing services is between you and the contractor directly. VicPlumbers is not a party to that contract.
• VicPlumbers does not guarantee response times, pricing, or the outcome of any plumbing job.

All contractors in our network hold a current VBA licence at the time of onboarding. VicPlumbers monitors contractor licence status and will remove contractors whose licences lapse.

You can independently verify any contractor's licence at the VBA licence register.

Pricing information displayed on this Site is indicative only. Actual job costs depend on the specific work required and will be confirmed by the contractor in an upfront quote before work begins.

The $0 call-out fee applies to VicPlumbers' referral service. Individual contractors may charge additional fees — these will be disclosed in their quote.

When using this Site, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information in all enquiry forms
• Not submit false, misleading, or abusive enquiries
• Not attempt to circumvent our referral process by directly engaging contractors you were introduced to through VicPlumbers and avoiding our service fee
• Not use this Site for any unlawful purpose

To the maximum extent permitted by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and other applicable law:

• VicPlumbers is not liable for the quality, safety, or outcome of any plumbing work performed by contractors in our network.
• VicPlumbers is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this Site or reliance on information on this Site.
• Our liability for any claim arising from the referral service is limited to the referral fee paid (if any).

Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the ACL that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Under the ACL, consumers have guarantees that cannot be excluded. If you have a dispute about work performed by a contractor, your rights are against the contractor directly. VicPlumbers can assist by facilitating contact but is not responsible for resolving disputes about workmanship.

Complaints about plumbing work quality can also be lodged with the Victorian Building Authority.

All content on this Site — including text, design, and code — is owned by VicPlumbers or its licensors. You may not reproduce, republish, or redistribute any content from this Site without our written permission.

Your use of this Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes arising from your use of this Site will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available at vicplumbers.com.au/terms. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
