Bathroom & Kitchen Renovations Cheltenham

Galvanised pipes from the 1950s often need replacement during major renovations. These older pipes can restrict water flow to new fixtures and may have reduced internal diameter from corrosion. Most renovation projects in Cheltenham include pipe upgrades to copper or PEX for optimal performance with modern tapware and appliances.

Major bathroom renovations typically don't require South East Water pre-approval unless relocating the water meter. However, all plumbing work must comply with their standards and may require inspection. Your renovation plumber will handle any necessary notifications and ensure compliance with South East Water requirements for fixture installations and drainage connections.

Most renovation plumbers in our Cheltenham network can start within 1-2 weeks for planned projects. Renovation work is typically scheduled in advance to coordinate with other trades. We'll connect you with available professionals who can work within your renovation timeline and coordinate with builders, tilers, and electricians.

VicPlumbers is a referral network connecting you with independent VBA-licensed renovation plumbers. We don't employ plumbers directly but maintain relationships with experienced professionals specialising in bathroom and kitchen renovations. Each plumber in our network operates their own business and provides direct quotes and services.

Renovation plumbing is priced per project, so there is no standard figure. Kitchen work involving new gas lines, water supply and drainage is a different scope again from a fixture swap. Each Cheltenham project is assessed individually and quoted in writing before the work is booked.
