General Plumbing Koo Wee Rup

Galvanised steel pipes in 1950-1980s homes corrode over time, causing blockages and water quality issues. These pipes typically last 20-50 years before requiring replacement. Our network plumbers can assess your pipe condition and recommend copper or PEX alternatives that better suit modern water quality standards.

Clay soil expands and contracts with moisture changes, potentially shifting underground pipes and causing leaks or breaks. This soil type also drains poorly, affecting septic systems and stormwater management. Our network plumbers understand local soil conditions and can install appropriate pipe bedding and drainage solutions.

We typically provide plumber referrals within minutes during business hours. For emergency situations, our network includes 24/7 emergency plumbers who can respond to urgent calls. Response times vary by plumber availability and job complexity, but most routine jobs can be scheduled within 1-2 days.
